This comfrey comes from Auke bay, Alaska. My great-great-great grandfather, Wes Waydelich, planted it on his property as a food source in the late 1800′s and the descendents of the original plants still comes up every year. The petite pink flowers are a favorite of bees and hummingbirds. The leaves are very large and hairy, and have been washed and dried. Caution: leaves may contain hairs that may irritate sensitive skins.
